Did I mention My Portrait by Richard Haines is hanging in Barneys Mens? No? Well, it is.

When it Rains, It Pours
It's been an interesting month, as the title to this post suggests, when it rains, it truly does pours.
Without giving away too much, because I still don't know of any outcomes, this is what I've been up late working on the past few days.
I haven't worked on anything like this in quite some time, it felt amazing. We'll see what happens next and where this will take me.
Disclaimer: These were just to show off my technical abilities, not my design sense/taste.

Winter Reading
Here it goes.
I read the entire Twilight Saga in one month.
I am not embarrassed to say so.
I am equally unembarrassed in my admission that I loved every word on every page.
I believe it is a wonderful love story.
I will see every movie.
I will even try to get cast in the last one, even if it means flying to Oregon and waiting in line with thousands of screaming teenage girls.
I repeat, I am not embarrassed.
Thank you Stephenie Meyer.
Ok so that's out of the way. Post Twilight Saga, I found myself wanting to read more. I was amiss when I found myself unable to relate to the classical literature references in Ms. Meyers books. (I didn't exactly do my reading in High School, I was too busy in the art room). So I went out and bought Emily Brontë's Wurthering Heights. I figure no time like the present for a little reeducation. This should keep me busy for a while.

It was a fun day at work!
Richard Haines, the super talented man who I'm privileged to call a friend stopped by my work today. In the hustle and bustle of things I had to run an errand and was unable to say goodbye before he had to go. He left me a sketch, small and simple but completely made my day.
Richard, You're the Best! Thank you.
