Meet My New Little Lady Holga

I've been saying for a quite some time now I wanted to produce an album of actual developed film photographs depicting me, my friends and our summer adventures in the city. Digital imagery has taken over, when was the last time you flipped through a friends or even your own photo album that wasn't on iphoto or any other computer program?

After much research I decided a Holga Lomography Camera was the way to go. Holga's produce such wonderful images with endless possibilities, I became obsessed!

So today after work I dropped by the Lomography Store on East 8th and picked up my little beauty! The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly to boot. I picked up the Holga 120 CFN, an accessories pack, and a few rolls of film.

I can't wait to get started!!

I´m Leaving on a Jet Plane

In a few minutes I´m saying so long to the Dominican Republic and a big I´m Back to NYC.

Sad to say goodbye but excited to get back to the city!

Updates

Okie Doke

Much more limited communications then previously expected so I wont be able to upload any photos until I fly home to NYC. Pout.

Its been really nice not have my cell phone or computer attached to me at the hip and to be able to just sit back and relax.

So far I´ve done alot of snorkeling, sunbathing, ofcourse drinking and I even managed to get my whole family to go horseback riding with me on the beach! It was hands down my favorite day with my family....ever!

Promises, Promises

Been a wee bit busy lately... new work scheduling (open till 10pm), getting all my last minute business in order for my holiday to the Dominican Republic, and making sure that the 2 days I'm back in New York go smoothly before I'm off to Ginny's Wedding in Atlanta!!!

I've packed all my favorite garments and plan on doing a live blogging mini-editorial photo story while I'm down there! Should be fun!!!

I can't wait to see the looks on my parents and brothers faces!!

T-Minus alittle over 24 hours until I take off!!

It's Becoming an Obsession

In one of my rare trips to Brooklyn I finally made a stop at About Glamour

Just stopped in for a minute, I didn't get to explore too much but I did spare a minute or two on the Vivienne Westwood Scarves.

New Obsession... I couldn't help myself... I bought another one.

It may seem silly, but square scarves make great accessories! In the suit jacket pocket, tied around your neck or head, worn as a cuff, etc..
